Surrounding Mt. Everest, there are many attractive peaks standing with the great mountain itself. Among them is Lobuche, a striking mountain comprising two main peaks: Lobuche East and Lobuche West. Lobuche East is the most popular peak for climbing.
Lobuche East stands at an elevation of 6,119 meters and is considered a challenging climb requiring good physical fitness and mountaineering skills. The trek follows the Everest Base Camp route first for acclimatization, then returns toward Lobuche before the summit climb.
